Meet our Pastors

Pastor Jim Chase celebrated 35 years in the ministry in July 2008. He began in July of 1973 starting Greenbush Street Baptist Church and he started Good Shepherd Baptist Church in October of 2002. Pastor Chase and Carolyn celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 6, 2008. They both love spending time with their eleven grandchildren.

Pastor Chase loves his Chicago Cubs and hopes one day they will win the World Series like they did back in 1908!

Pastor Terry Chase is the number three son of Pastor Jim and Carolyn's four boys. He was called as the assistant pastor here at Good Shepherd in June of 2003. Pastor Terry graduated from Liberty University with his Bachelor's and then from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's degree in Religious Education. He began his ministry at the Northwest Christian Academy in Miami, Florida, as a teacher and then became the assistant principal. Terry and Polly have been married for over 17 years and they have two daughters, Amanda and Erin, and one son, Steven.

Pastor Terry is an avid Purdue fan and he also loves to cheer on his favorite Chicago teams, the Bears and the White Sox.
